An Indonesian Dayak Zoomorphic Carved Lidded Box, of ironwood, the entire box in the form of a resting "dragon dog", with notched lid that slides back. Areas of old loss to tail and on back, and hole in the underside. A wonderfully expressive carving of curious purpose.
