A finely rendered and colorful watercolor prospective illustration for the National Guard of Colorado headquarters, by Albert Bryan, Architect, Denver Colorado. Titled and attributed on clipped board affixed to verso. 7 1/2" x 16", elegantly matted and framed to 17 1/2" x 26 1/2". This structure was never built, as Denver opted for James A. Gow's similarly castle-like design which was built in Golden in 1913-1914, but Bryan did design the Officers' Clubhouse and Camp George West on that facility, blending a Craftsman-style aesthetic with cobblestones. Bryan is also known for designing the Carnegie Library in Fort Collins.
