This is an original drypoint etching by British artist Edmund Blampied. The title is: "The Butterfly", it was created and printed in 1928 and is editioned as 25/100. The image measures 9 5/8" x 7 7/8", pencil signed lower right and printed on a cream laid type paper with the F.J. Head watermark. Very fine condition, this is one of Blampied's most impressive images. It appears in the Appleby catalog as image number 133.
