This is an original pen and ink drawing done as an illustration for the Oscar Wilde tale, The Young King. Drawn by Everett Shinn for the John C. Winston Company, Chicago 1940. This drawing is titled and the upper edge and signed "E. Shinn 1940" bottom center. The work done on illustration board measures 18X14 inches.
