This is an oil on panel by Belgian artist Frans Van Severdonck (1809-1889) The painting showingducks and chickens measures 6 7/8X10 3/8 inches. It is signed and dated 1889 in the lower center and also identified on the back of the panel. "Franz van Severdonck was a master of animals and created numerous compositions with sheep, horses and chickens. " This painting could use a light cleaning. But is quite presentable as it now hangs.
