Harris Sculpt." l.r., titled in the plate l.c., Plate 1, from Fores's Marine Sketches, published 1851 by Fores, 41 Piccadilly, London. The brig Xarifa races the Mirage, H. M. S. Yacht Victoria & Albert & Fairy, Musquito, Bianca, and Pearl, in the English Channel.
