This is an original prize winning etching by American artist John Taylor Arms. The title is Sunlight on Stone, Caudebec-en-Caux. The image created in 1931 measures 14 1/2" X 7 5/8". Printed on an antique laid type paper, hand signed in pencil, and inscribed "Ed 100 II" lower left, also with a collectors seal "HOW" in red, lower right corner of the sheet. This image appears in the Arms catalog as number 241. This image was part of his French Church series no.31. This image won numerous awards including best print in the Arts and Crafts Association in Connecticut in 1952.
