This delicate woodblock print by Keishu Takeuchi was created in 1911. Sight size is 12 1/2 x 9 1/4 inches. It is matted and framed. The Bungei Kurabu publishers seal in on the l.l. with the artists seal on the u.r. Takeuchi was a student of the famous Meiji artist, Tsukioka Yoshitoshi. Takeuchi worked as an illustrator making mainly kuchi-e frontispiece illustrations for magazines and novels. (M)
