Mid-Century Japanese Vase and Butterfly Tray, The vase is marked on the bottom, "Made in Japan", metallic marble finish with red wash, old repair to base, loss to finish, the inner lip appears to be threaded so could have originally been lidded or an urn, 12 5/8" tall. The butterfly tray is 28 1/2" x 17 1/4", inlaid wood with center butterfly mosaic, the try is in need of structural repair (tape to back to hold it together) and there is loss to the butterfly mosaic and break to glass corner, still a very decorative piece.
