Spring, Ponte Landolfo, Italy. Watercolor on paper, 20†x 23â€, signed lower right. Scalise was born in Meriden, CT and attended the Paier School of Art in Hamden, CT. Known for his watercolors, he has received numerous awards throughout his career. His heritage is often reflected in his subjects, the villages and countryside of Italy. He taught both commercial and fine art at the Famous Artists School in Westport, CT.
