This is a beautiful original landscape by American artist Roi Partridge. Etching, image size is 8 3/4 x 11 5/8 inches, published in 1950 in an edition of 154 for the Society of Print Connoisseurs, pencil signed. This etching appears to be an early proof apart from the published edition, as there is no blindstamp from the Society of Print Connoisseurs. Partridge grew up in Seattle and was a member of "The Triad", along with John Butler and Claire Shepard Shisler; before traveling to study art in New York at the National Academy of Design, and then to Paris, where he studied etching with Bertha Jacques.
